SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8am -5pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Prepare compliance audit data by compiling and analyzing internal and external information including coordinating and evaluating administrative and clinical quality assurance initiatives and other risk management activities.
  2. Communicate audit information to management by researching and analyzing data.
  3. Ensure clinical compliance reviews are completed according to procedures and within timelines.
  4. Track metrics like compliance risks for reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  5. Provide administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies; completing projects in support of compliance audits.
  6. Offer assistance by answering questions and responding to requests.
  7. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  8. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
  9. Enhance compliance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  11. Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and foundation matters and refer questionable issues to supervisor.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the non-exempt functions as defined in this job description.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Ability to prioritize to organize time effectively; must work well under deadline pressure
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collaborate professionally with related departments within the foundation.
  • Excellent knowledge of state and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and database management- data gathering and analysis and desktop publishing required
  • Ability to work cooperatively with a diverse group of individuals, including staff, clients,
  • Ability to serve both internal and external customers and agencies.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a highly professional manner

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Licensure:

  • LCDCi (preferred)

Experience:

One to Two years of compliance reporting or related experience preferred.

Experience with non-profit, substance abuse, health care, mental health or education is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting in normal position for extended periods of time.

Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.

Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard.

Communication skills using the spoken word.

Ability to see within normal parameters.

Ability to hear within normal range.

Ability to move about.

Ability to travel as needed, less than 20% of time.
