SCHEDULE Monday -Friday 8am-5pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Ensure that facilitators understand any and all program changes set by Program Director.
  2. Meet with facilitators monthly to review training topics, phone calls are face to face.
  3. Victim Advocate (VA): Victim contact and maintenance of the VA Log

  5. Ensure that appropriate records are maintained regarding clients and service delivery.
  6. Ensure that appropriate records are maintained for reporting requirements.
  7. Ensure that an accurate record of working hours, mileage, etc. is maintained.
  8. Ensure timely preparation of administrative documents and reports as requested/required by the Program Director and TDCJ.
  9. Ensure that all program facilitators meet guideline training requirements.
  10. To maintain a working understanding of all program guidelines as well as any and all updates to the guidelines.
  11. Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and foundation matters.
  12. Ensure completion of Big 5 performance management tool by the required deadline and use of SMART goals to support annual performance compensation review.
  13. Uphold the core principles of Cenikor's culture and create a positive working environment for all team members. Be able to effectively communicate the core principles of Cenikor's culture to candidates during interview process.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the non-exempt functions as defined in this job description.

Batterers Education/Program Advocacy:

Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • Provide education in accordance to the Duluth Model to program participants as needed.
  • Promote violence prevention, self-help and social support that helps enable the clients to continue their non-violence plan beyond completion of the program as needed.
  • Ensure ongoing positive communication with referral sources.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth understanding of substance use disorders, treatment modalities, and prevention strategies.
  • Familiar with relevant regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Experienced in working with diverse population.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required, including MS Excel and Outlook calendar.
  • Travel up to 15% required.
  • Strong ethical and business standards.
  • Ability to lead by established goals and objectives.

Education:

  • Associate's degree in human services field or criminal justice.
  • Bachelor's preferred 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in substance use treatment and prevention
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
