Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Work with the Senior Director of Advancement to provide oversight for special events and donor relations that meets the needs outlined in the strategic plan, and are tailored to the philanthropic goals of the Foundation.
  2. Provide oversight for creation of accurate proposals, presentations, documentation of donations, gift acknowledgement letters and reporting using donor database as requested.
  3. Provide a collaborative, team-oriented approach in the planning, development and execution of quality events and functions for the Foundation.
  4. Provide oversight and collaborate with facility leadership, staff and/or committees/volunteers to ensure special events meet defined financial objectives. Suggest improvements where necessary.
  5. Work with facility leadership for successful solicitation of sponsorships or gifts to support events or projects.
  6. Handle projects and assignments requiring independent judgement, excellent problem-solving skills, and in-depth knowledge of Foundation functions, programs, ongoing activities and priorities.
  7. Develop ways for the community to become increasingly involved with Cenikor (including staff and clients).
  8. Articulate the mission, vision, values and goals of the Cenikor Foundation through correspondence, presentations, tours and more.
  9. Ensure completion of Big 5 performance management tool by the required deadlines and use of SMART goals to support annual performance compensation review.
  10. Uphold the core principles of Cenikor's culture and create a positive working environment for all team members.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the exempt functions as defined in this job description.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
  • Experience in using a CRM to manage events and donors

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Experience:

  • A minimum 3 years of experience with fundraising events is a requirement.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting in normal position for extended periods of time.
  • Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.
  • Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard.
  • Communication skills using the spoken word.
  • Ability to see within normal parameters.
  • Ability to hear within normal range.
  • Ability to lift file boxes weighing approximately 20 pounds on top of filing cabinets.
  • Ability to travel to facilities by various transportation means approximately 25-30% of the time.

Licensure:

  • Valid driver's license required.
