Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Responsible for promotion of Cenikor Mission and Cenikor continuum of care services to all team members and communities of Caldwell, Hays, Travis and Williamson Counties.
  2. Responsible for the leadership of the Prevention team under the direction of the Senior Prevention Manager.
  3. Responsible for the coordination and evaluation of Prevention of Substance Use Program with the Senior Prevention Manager to ensure quality delivery and effectiveness of the Prevention Program.
  4. Participate in the hiring/onboarding of Prevention Team Members with the Senior Prevention Manager.
  5. Provide ongoing support and direction for Prevention Team.
  6. Serve as a Cenikor representative by maintaining professional relationships with schools and community partners.
  7. Provide direct Prevention Services in schools and community both in person and virtually.
  8. Participate in community mobilization efforts through schools, community events, meetings with community partners and collaborate with other Cenikor Programs to provide Prevention services.
  9. Participate in required Prevention Media Campaign and coordinate annual Prevention Campaigns with the Senior Manager and Prevention Team.
  10. Work with Prevention Senior Manager and Prevention Manager as a team to ensure maximum cost effectiveness of resources for Prevention Program including ordering of necessary program supplies.
  11. Participate in weekly supervision meetings with Senior Prevention Manager.
  12. Responsible for oversight of San Marcos location in Senior Prevention Manger's absence.

Administration

  1. Document and maintain program files according to federal, state, and Cenikor guidelines.
  2. Report on a monthly and quarterly basis contractual program measures and curriculum outcomes for attainment of program goals in the Clinical Management Behavioral Health System and Virtual Platform.
  3. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulatory contract standards and Cenikor policies and procedures.
  4. Work with Senior Prevention Manager to ensure mandatory Cenikor and contractual requirements are fulfilled including annual professional development for team members.
  5. Work closely with Senior Prevention Manager to uphold the core principles of Cenikor' s culture and create a positive working environment for all Team Members.
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the exempt functions as assigned in this job description.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Experience in leadership of teams including facilitating of team meetings in person and virtually.
  • Experienced and/or knowledgeable in providing educational programs and behavioral health information to youth and adults.
  • Experience in public speaking to youth and adults.
  • Experience in networking within a school system and community.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet aggressive deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experienced in working with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required, including Zoom

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or other related field

Experience:

  • Experience in a school setting, after school program, or other social service setting
  • Experience in leading a team with in a school setting or other social service setting.

Licensure:

  • Certified Prevention Specialist certification required within 20 months of employment.
