Schedule: Monday -Friday 8am-5pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Responsible for the development and coordination of the Youth Recovery Community locations to ensure quality delivery and effectiveness of the program.
  2. Participate in the hiring and onboarding of YRC Team Leads and YRC Team Members.
  3. Provide supervision and required Health and Humans Services Commission and Cenikor training

for Youth Recovery Community locations on an ongoing basis.

  1. Participate in community outreach efforts through local health fairs, schools and at other

events sponsored by local partners.

  1. Provide direct Youth Recovery Services as needed to fulfill obligations of the YRC Program.
  2. Serve as a Cenikor representative by establishing positive professional relationships with schools and community partners.
  3. Work with Prevention Senior Manager to ensure maximum efficiency and cost effective allocation of resources of Youth Recovery Team and the Youth Recovery Program.

ADMINISTRATION

  1. Document and maintain program files according to federal, state, and Cenikor guidelines.
  2. Work effectively with Health and Human Services Commission YRC representative.
  3. Preform quarterly audit in CMBHS to ensure all documentation is current and accurate.
  4. Review YRC Team Members training files on a quarterly basis.
  5. Provide continuing education opportunities in conjunction with YRC Team Leads each month through webinars, in house trainings, or external trainings.
  6. Participate in supervision meetings with Senior Prevention Manager on a weekly basis.
  7. Provide supervision to YRC Team Leads on an ongoing basis.
  8. Facilitate with YRC Team Leads on a weekly basis to discuss YRC participants, community meetings, pending partnerships, and provide assistance in areas where YRC teams needs assistance
  9. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulatory standards as well as contract standards and Cenikor policies and procedures.
  10. Maintain professional development as required by federal and state guidelines to meet compliance regulations.
  11. Work closely with Senior Prevention Manager to uphold the core principles of Cenikor' s culture and create a positive working environment for all team members.
  12. Participate in all Cenikor meetings/webinars including annual Cenikor Manager Meeting.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the exempt functions as assigned in this job description.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Experienced and/or knowledgeable in providing recovery programs to youth, parents, and other allies.
  • Experienced in working with diverse population.
  • Excellent public speaker and customer service provider.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet aggressive deadlines and prioritize multiple task as directed by Cenikor Leadership.
  • Effective communication and networking skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required, including MS Outlook calendar.

Education:

  • Associates degree in Addiction Studies/Addiction Counseling, or other related field required.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Addictions Studies, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or other related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Experience working with youth, preferably in a treatment or recovery setting preferred.
  • Experience facilitating youth groups and individual peer recovery coach sessions
  • Experience with substance use recovery, including multiple pathways to recovery.
  • Experience managing/leading teams preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.
  • Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole.

Licensure:

  • LCDC-I or LCDC required
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Recovery Support Peer Specialist. or Peer Recovery Peer Specialist preferred
