Schedule: Monday -Friday 8am -5pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Cultivate positive relationships with new and existing contacts through scheduled meetings, breakfasts, luncheons, including networking events and community resource fairs.
  2. Collaborate with the Director of Business Development/Facility Director/Senior Manager to research new referral sources, conferences, or events to participate in and raise awareness of Cenikor in the judicial community.
  3. Conduct presentations with judges, attorneys, liaisons, probation, CPS, and parole departments to drive client referrals to Cenikor's continuum of care.
  4. Complete preliminary screenings and interviews of potential clients involved in the justice system.
  5. Provide testimony, when necessary, in court proceedings as to Cenikor's programs and services.
  6. Day and/or overnight travel throughout geographic region to market all Cenikor programs.
  7. Provide clients with referrals to appropriate agencies as needed.
  8. Function as a community resource to referral partners.
  9. Represent Cenikor courteously and professionally.
  10. Understand and support Cenikor's modality of treatment.
  11. Work closely with the Director of Business Development/Facility Director/Senior Manager to uphold the core principles of Cenikor's culture and contribute to a positive working environment for all team members.
  12. Ensure completion of Big 5 performance management tool by the required deadlines and use of SMART goals to support annual performance compensation review.
  13. Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and Foundation matters and refer questionable issues to your supervisor.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the exempt functions as defined in this job.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of drug and alcohol treatment.
  • Familiarity with the criminal justice system.
  • Ability to market all Cenikor services throughout the region.
  • Skilled customer service representative and adept at public speaking.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Competent to interact effectively with diverse types of people.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required, including specific MS Outlook calendar experience.
  • Capable of utilizing application software (i.e., Salesforce) for referral contact management.
  • Ability to present a professional, positive image that reflects well on Cenikor.
  • Ability to consistently uphold the Core Principles of Cenikor's Culture with all team members:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in social services, Business, or other closely related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Two (2) years of experience in outreach or a related field preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience working with judicial system.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to facilities by various transportation means.
  • Sitting in normal position for extended periods of time.
  • Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.
  • Finger dexterity is required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard.
  • Communication skills using the spoken word.
  • Ability to see within normal parameters.
  • Ability to hear within normal range.
  • Ability to drive with reliable daily transportation.

Licensure Required:

  • Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor-Intern (LCDC-I) preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must receive clearance to enter local jails and law enforcement facilities.
