ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for the development, coordination, and evaluation of Prevention Programs to ensure
quality delivery and effectiveness.
2. Participate in the hiring and onboarding of Prevention Team Members.
3. Provide training and supervision to Prevention Specialists on an ongoing basis.
4. Participate in community mobilization efforts through local health fairs, schools and at other
events sponsored by local partners.
5. Serve as a Cenikor representative by establishing positive professional relationships with schools
and community partners.
6. Work with Senior Prevention Manager to ensure maximum efficiency and cost effective allocation
of resources of Prevention Team and Prevention Program.
Administration
1. Document and maintain program files according to federal, state, and Cenikor guidelines.
2. Report on a monthly and quarterly basis HHSC program measures and curriculum outcomes for
attainment of program goals in the Clinical Management Behavioral Health System.
3. Participate in supervision meetings with Senior Manager Prevention Manager
4. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulatory standards as well as contract standards and
Cenikor policies and procedures.
5. Maintain professional development as required by federal, and state guidelines to meet compliance
regulations.
6. Work closely with Sr. Prevention Manager to uphold the core principles of Cenikor's culture and
create a positive working environment for all team members.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the exempt functions as assigned in this
job description.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
? Experienced and/or knowledgeable in providing educational programs to youth and adults.
? Experienced in working with diverse population.
? Excellent public speaker and customer service provider.
? Excellent time management skills to meet aggressive deadlines and prioritize multiple
tasks.
? Effective communication and networking skills.
? Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required, including MS Outlook calendar.

Education:
? Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education or other related field required.
? Masters' degree in Social Work, Education or other related field preferred.
Experience:
? Experience working in group settings with adolescents preferred.
? Experience in school settings with classroom management preferred.
? Experience in prevention/substance use field preferred.
? Experience managing/leading teams preferred.
Physical Requirements:
? Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time.
? Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.
? Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole
hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard.
? Communication skills using the written and spoken word.
? Ability to see within normal parameters.
? Ability to hear within normal range.
? Possible exposure to communicable diseases.
? Travel required in personal vehicle to presentation sites a majority of work schedule.
Licensure:
? Associate Prevention Specialist certification required within 20 months of employment
